Against the backdrop of the global exploration of more efficient and safer green and clean energy development solutions in oil and gas industry, our company recently announced that we have successfully delivered two personalized customized ultra large size bronze control valves for the highly anticipated "AGOGO FPSO" (Floating Production Storage and Offloading) project. This milestone delivery marks another major breakthrough for MASCOT in the field of high-end valve manufacturing and lays a solid foundation for the smooth construction and future operation of the "AGOGO FPSO" project.
“AGOGO FPSO”项目作为AZULE公司部署在西非安哥拉地区油气资源开发的重要一环，项目由华润大东公司与YINSON公司合作将一艘2009年建造的32万吨VLCC超大型原油运输船，改装成一艘船长333米、船宽60米、型深30.5米的FPSO “海上超级工厂”。其设计建造旨在提高油气开采效率，增强资源处理能力，并满足日益增长的能源需求。面对项目对阀门性能、超大尺寸及耐腐蚀性的极高要求，MASCOT公司凭借其在此类项目深厚的技术经验、先进的生产工艺以及严格的质量控制体系，量身定制了这两台超大口径的控制青铜阀门。
The "AGOGO FPSO" project is an important part of AZULE's deployment in the development of oil and gas resources in Angola, West Africa. The project is a collaboration between HuaRun DaDong Dockyard Co., LTD and YINSON to transform a 320K ton VLCC ultra large crude oil transport ship built in 2009 into an FPSO "offshore super factory" with a length of 333 meters, a width of 60 meters, and a depth of 30.5 meters. Its design and construction aim to improve oil and gas extraction efficiency, enhance resource processing capabilities, and meet the growing energy demand. Faced with the extremely high requirements for valve performance, ultra large size, and corrosion resistance in the project, MASCOT company designed these two ultra large size bronze control valves based on its profound technical experience, advanced production processes, and strict quality control system in similar projects.
MASCOT副总经理何炬光先生介绍，这两台24英寸的阀体采用了高纯铜合金材质，阀芯/座及笼套选用了N05500，这种材质是由镍、铜和铝等元素组成,具有高强度、高耐腐蚀性和耐磨性的特点，也称为蒙乃尔K500。确保了阀门在恶劣海洋环境下的长期稳定性和耐腐蚀性，阀笼结构还集成了先进的CAVFLO多孔抗气蚀设计，不仅能够精确调节流体流量，还能有效满足高压差下严密的泄漏要求。将为“AGOGO FPSO”的顺畅运行提供了有力保障。
Mr. He Juguang, Deputy General Manager of MASCOT, introduced that these two 24-inch valve bodies are made of high-purity copper alloy material, and the valve plug/seat and retainer sleeve are made of N05500. This material is composed of elements such as nickel, copper, and aluminum, and has the characteristics of high strength, high corrosion resistance, and wear resistance, also known as Monel K500. Ensuring the long-term stability and corrosion resistance of the valve in server marine environments, the valve retainer structure also integrates advanced CAVFLO Miti-stage anti-cavitation design, which can not only accurately control fluid flow, but also effectively meet tight leakage requirements under high pressure differentials, will provide strong support for the smooth operation for AGOGO FPSO.
